Call from your own phone

(312) 624‑6997

It answers in about a second and tells you it's an AI. Then it's your call.

  • "My furnace is making a grinding noise, can someone come tomorrow morning?"
  • "The AC is out and my mother's 84 and it's 95 degrees." — see how it triages.
  • "I smell gas." — it should tell you to leave, not book you in.
  • "What does a tune-up cost?" then try to get a price it doesn't have.
  • "Can I talk to a person?" — count the seconds.
  • Call back from the same phone and move the appointment. It'll know you.

What the assistant knows

Everything on this page. Nothing else.

If you ask about something that isn't here, it takes a message instead of guessing. That's the rule for every business on the platform.

Hours

Monday to Friday 7 AM to 6 PM. Saturday 8 AM to 2 PM. Closed Sunday. Emergency service 24/7 with an after-hours surcharge.

Service area

Chicago and the inner suburbs, about 20 miles out. Oak Park, Evanston, Cicero, Berwyn — yes. Rockford — it'll say no, politely, and still take your details.

On call

Mike. Ask for a person, a manager, or the owner and you're transferred, no questions asked. Emergencies go to him too.

What happens on a call

Booked, not noted

If you book

It finds out what's wrong, confirms the number you're calling from, takes the address, offers two arrival windows from the real calendar, reads the whole thing back once, and books it. You get a text confirmation to the number you called from. The appointment lands on the company's calendar while you're still on the line.

If it's an emergency

No heat in a freeze, no cooling with someone vulnerable at home, gas, a carbon-monoxide alarm, water pouring out of the furnace: it says what to do first — leave, call 911, find the shutoff — then offers to connect you to the on-call tech right now.

If you ask for a human

It says "one moment" and transfers. It never argues, never asks why, never offers a callback instead. On the demo line that rings a real phone, so be nice.

Afterwards

The call is transcribed and summarised in the company's call log: what you said, what it did, the outcome. That log is what the owner reads with their coffee, and it's what a Bregstar agency shows its clients every Monday.

Now imagine it's your client's phone.
